They say, Q4 2009 will see the economy climbing back. They say, it will rise as fast as it had slumped. They say, this recession is the worst in over 60 years. They say, globalization has been a catalyst in this recession. They say retail shopping and online sales have declined drastically..
They say...
Well, so we really know for sure? We do see the signs of recession, but about 50% of the effect is from within. We think we are affected and hence we behave.
There are definite ways to beat such recessions. Smart spending and savings starts with ourself, and then reaches at global levels. If majority of the shoppers spend wisely, things will turn around.
I for one, have found one such way - Hunt down Deals and Coupons - do proper price comparison - and use all available discounts to shop for the product of my choice. And all this from my computers. It saves on fuel, carbon emissions, traffic and money! I'd say I do my bit to save the environment! Go Green!
Like I said - Not Spending is not the right way to counter recession.
Spending wisely is!
